It depends on the mining project,
Simple mining operations (quarry operations) get approved in around 3 months,
Archerx - graphite mine took around 8-9 months, I am fairly certain they required to submit additional information.

@cazz69 Gee three months for RNU to submit the documents, I presume EGR has 3 months to reply? This is going to drag on.

Have you noticed how none of the other ASX listed companies who are developing downstream graphite processing or the numerous other graphite purification companies have objected to EGR's patent application, It makes you wonder how many similar steps RNU has used for the patent to go to the effort and cost to object to the patent, I am very concerned about @mallyrocks suggestion of viewing the previous lapsed applications to see the flowsheet to copy.
