If RMS did succeed than the Shire and Main Roads Department would differently be involved with RMS on how they would develope, implement and maintain a road management strategy seeing they would cause significant damage with the constant haulage (back/forwards)
This would take in cost to upgrade to begin with and flow on cost to maintain.
Dont forget all signage and warning to general road uses.
Also the additional cost for keeping the surface of the road free from load spillage as this can cause injury and vehicle damage.
They would also require a stringent traffic management plan that would be closely monitored by both Shire & MRD due to public liability.
It would be easier to relocate the plant .
