G@marc @mistaTea I agree with you both that we should be using this shit situation to either write a better deal (extended rights, sponsorship/advertising etc.) or we claw back funds for our own financial sake. Because let's not forget that we are not out of our own sticky financial situation.
Plus some people do have short memories. so if we don't claw back funds without securing something now then when the negotiations come around everything will be back to normal (hopefully) and this will seem like a distant memory, sports will say they need the higher funds for long term viability and we would've been royally screwed.
In summary, being a good corporate citizen now will mean nothing if you don't have something contractual in return
