Good bounce in the price over the last few days. Wished I topped up again at 20c.
Just thinking through impacts. A very simplified view....The commercial revenue stream (i.e. pubs, hotels) is a lot smaller than I expected. For H1 Fy2020 the revenue from commercial was $27m. So if you assume that this line of revenue is wiped out for 6 months then that would be a $27m hit to the bottom line. On the other side residential was $299m for the half year - so that is clearly where the bigger risk is for us. Even if you assume that 10% cancel = $30m. So we could be looking at a $57m revenue hit. We then have to offset the cost savings in terms of rights etc.
Just food for thought through these very interesting times. I do think Mr Market has got Sky seriously wrong. I for one am certainly not giving up Sky when I'm locked in my house for 4+ weeks!!
