Well, the increased appeal to advertisers is a real one (synergy). But yes, it's a question of how significant relative to the price - especially given advertising isn't SKT's main game. And the increased scale does give SKT more ability to attract/retain popular NZ personalities (such as in news & current affairs etc). But again, same caveats apply.
