Nope, I doubt it very much. for a number of reasons.
Management and Board recently bought shares, so absolutely no deals underway.
Also, at the IFT AGM they were pretty emphatic that they did not want to get into Pay TV beyond the wholesale arrangement they have with Sky currently for Vodafone TV.
I do think his telco experience will add some benefit to Sky though to (hopefully) help maximise value out of the wholesale broadband deal we have with Vocus. Perhaps one day we may even be able to ink a similar deal with 2D, Vodafone or Spark to offer Sky Mobile.
Time will tell, but my industry contacts say this guy is a good operator.
