Some mild but renewed specualtion on M&A possibilities for Sky on ST now.
No way for us to know (obv) but the idea probably has more merit now than in the past.
The ex CFO from Foxtel has been brilliant at helping with the cost cutting etc. Foxtel have gone through a similar process to cut costs, demonstrate sustainable earnings and a path for growth in order to maximise an eventual IPO valuation (early next year?).
So if Sky are not actively angling for a takeover or some kind of merger, they are doing all the right things to maximise shareholder value.
