I should also point out...
If it turns out that Sky do buy something (instead of being the target of a takeover or merger) and the asset they buy really is good than I will be a happy shareholder.
But I am very nervous about the idea of Sky buying something within their budget based on previous decisions made (RugbyPass fiasco).
If they prove me wrong that is wonderful.
If they announce that they are buying Spark Sport or investing in CommercialCo I will be displeased.
Merger with NZM with a special dividend to SKT shareholders - I like the idea.
Takeover by someone for a $3.50+ - I like the idea.
