Ever since the new CEO (Jolie Hodson) came in and put her foot down...that they would secure rights but only if there was a commercial return in it (as opposed to her predecessor who just let Jeff Latch pay whatever he wanted to secure the rights) things have been a lot cooler for Spark Sport.

They have never got the subs they hoped for.

A lot of cricket fans are upset because their product is not as good as what they had with Sky. So they have to pay for Sky AND SS now if they want to watch all cricket...but the commentary etc on Spark Sport is very immature compared to the Sky experience.

I think the tipping point was when Sky held on to the NRL.

If Spark did bid for the Premier League again, Jeffy boy must have had a lot less money to offer this time round. Mommy Hodson must have halved his pocket money!
