To be competitive with other streaming services Sky will have to spend a lot on developing exclusive content. Sky certainly don't have economies of scale on their side versus the global streaming giants.
Granted, without knowledge of the price Sky paid... I just don't see how this helps Sky. Spark clearly believe its not worth investing big in exclusive content.
