The app price is bundled in and paid for up-front by Sky. Since Google and Apple both take 30% of the cost of the sale bypassing that allows the price to Sky to drop and also the revenue to MGM to go up. Little bit cheaper overall than Australia but solid margins in the 60 to 70% territory.
As said, over 300 Sky sales people have been trained already in the product.
This is an excellent deal. Upfront means better cashflow as well.
