Time for the SBM board to step up.
Not sure either GMD or SLR see the value in the other assets nor comfortable with the corporate risk associated with a merger.
Be interesting to see what happens if/when GMD matches the deal. IMO, SLR shares will come under significant pressure noting they have already been hammered on the back of this deal structure…will test the boards conviction.
Reckon the risk profile of this kind of deal making suits the DNA of GMD a lot better versus the comparatively slow and steady approach of SLR…
