hi sky, in china sma havto pay to enter those regions at about 700,000 per province, out of the 20 something regions in china, that maybe where the CR will end up in opening up all other china provinces, IMO and not to mention the upcoming 'other' asian country(s)....
China is not 'Ebay' etc: as per your query. nothing goes in or out of china without their knowledge/approvals. So wether theyre for "rights, marketing, or bribes??" thats how it works in china and very few Co's get let into that country without going through the hoops, so to speak.
So to me, it looks like this Co SMA are jumping through ALL the right hoops to advance to other levels, and china like what they see, hence the attachments to telco's, banks etc: all big names/gamechangers in china.
IMO, compared to their smallish CR the near future (in china alone) is potentially enormous, then the rest will follow.
