The only definition of ‘starting mining’ that is worth worrying about here is the one that satisfies Nebari to the extent that they are happy to proceed with the Tranche 2 debt facility. I can’t imagine a Universe where TNC doesn’t announce that to market the moment it happens, because in the context of everything else it’s highly market sensitive.
The fact that this hasn’t happened and taking into account the MD just stood down I’d suggest are pretty compelling evidence that mining has not started at this point.
