That vein is 2-3cm wide and is parallel to the drillhole. True width didn't get discussed in the text for some reason.
If the drillhole manged to snag a long enough down-dip vein length of course you're going to get an atypical HG intersection that's not necessarily representative of the typical grades and widths IMO.
