Shareholders have already had plenty of opportunity to be vocal. If they leave it till a negative court decision then that is on them. This issue has been around since Synlait slyly let let the market know of the High Court decision.

I would point out that if the decision goes either way this is not the end of the matter. A positive decision for Synlait will still see the issue of Compensation needing to be resolved - I don't recall the Supreme Court has been asked to decide that. A negative decision will then flush out what Mr Ye wants to do in terms of enforcement.

Either way I see this issue remaining unresolved until at least the end of 2021.
