Apparently the rock is the right type, the drilling team used the camp site next door @WA8 where there are a lot of old pits from the previous mine operator so the tmx guys took advantage of a potential visible comparison and checked out the walls of the old pits down to 100m. They compared favourably to the RC drill samples. Still not a guarantee they are both mineralised with the same grade @ 6-10gms but old drilling on Smokebush proves there is gold there in the IP halo.
The hints are all there in the announcements comparing next door historical pits but you need to read all the footnotes and then compare those announcements mentioned in those notes.
It looks like a reasonable bet to me.
