Yeah - spot on; there have been so many 'toot toots', 'train leaving the station' and 'n dollars by Christmas' calls in the couple of years that I've held.
With TNG, if you are buying a strategic stake (long-term), assume your holding will be 10% worse than it is now in 12 months time. Buy f you believe that's acceptable in your portfolio. If you're a short termer, don't buy a strategic stock like TNG without definitive and published news flow. Unless you are a P&Der
SMS having a stake is great, buts is piddly in size. They probably spend that same amount on toilet rolls each year. If they'd taken the stake at a premium, that would have made me smilier. Still, its a little little step ahead, so that's something.
