You seem to have a fair handle on this type of thing.
Are you concerned from what you have seen of any counter claim from SMS - separate from what they are putting forward in the affidavit to get stat demand set aside.
I suspect throwing around some big numbers larger than the outstanding debt is a logical thing to do to assist the SD getting set aside, but a separate claim? from what I am hearing that is unlikely, but interested in your thoughts.
SMS reputation is also at stake I would have thought, as no one wants to do business with people who sue regularly.
