    SMX Technology successfully enabled reciChain to function and operate in the circular economy, resulting in full traceability of recycled plastics in British Columbia in Canada




    reciChain is a consortium of twelve(12)leading industry players that integrated SMX’s technology to improve sorting and provide full traceability and transparency throughout the value chain for plastics.

    SMX proved that its unique technology was able to tangibly demonstrate a full closed-loop value chain production. This means that the SMX technology is ready and fully capable to scale up commercial operations for the plastic circular economy.

    By being able to create a digital twin for every physical object, SMX demonstrated that its blockchain platform was able to record and track the entire plastics value chain from raw materials to product to recycling and reuse.

    Commercial negotiations with value chain players will commence in Q4,2020.
