There are more than 600 registered liquidators across the country. It is not uncommon for Companies to go insolvent. Especially in emerging markets.
They had a plan and it didn't work for the amount of money investors were prepared to put in. The reasons for failure are all in the reports which you should be able to get access to as a shareholder.
To my knowledge the project has still not produced any significant amount of potash and is no guarantee to be a success. Just like all businesses.
