I suspect the lender (Taurus) may have had a hand in this appointment. Why?
Matt Bungney is an ex-MD of natural resource investment banking at Barclays. Taurus' leadership includes other ex-Barclays Investment bankers that I suspect would have either reported to, or worked alongside Mr Bungney.
Whether this means Taurus is concerned about the direction of SO4 and is gaining more oversight and inadvertent control of the direction of SO4, or are just supporting SO4 through established connections I cannot say, however I think either can generally be viewed as positive for the certainty of funding.
