From memory: MCT spent $5.5m to get 51% of the JV which was a great deal for MCT and the SP soared. Then 50/50 expenditure but only up to a decision to mine ie DFS Re the obstruction: I used to own NME shares on the basis that the MC of NME was way lower than MCT which made no sense I was shocked to see some MCT anns not announced by NME which seemed very unfair to NME holders. I made enquires to both companies and got no answers. Reasonable to conclude that MCT had not provided NME with the anns (but I can't know that for sure?) and that the relationship had soured.
