I would be very pleased with a Fekola type discovery. However, IMO the anomalies in this case are not necessarily comparable given the deeper regolith profile at Fekola. As best as I can determine the anomaly at Kokoseb is sitting right on weathered bedrock. The same number of ounces or more ounces at a higher grade would be a really good result.

I also investigated the satellite image and dug into the Namibian mining cadastre and the published literature and could not find anything marked on any map corresponding to the anomaly to dispute the companies claim of the discovery bearing out of the regional soil sampling as a fully greenfield target.

    Here: https://maps.landfolio.com/Namibia/

    and this paper: https://mme.gov.na/files/publications/abc_Steven_Badenhorst%20and%20Petzel_Au%20in%20central%20Namibia.pdf

On page 3 Mineralisation type (v) seems to be most in line with what the company has described as observed some 10's of kilometres to the south and east of Kokoseb, although they make no mention of the anomalism being in granite type rocks or the presence of elevated Sb.

The last announcement re the soil anomaly says that trench results are expected before the end of the current quarter and i'm eagerly awaiting those.

All IMO and DYOR, not investment advice.

    Cheers,
    CC
