With regard to the coal industry - Que sera sera. From my perspective, not too fussed about timelines, rather, the successful development of renewables in the mix of energy supply and overtime becoming the dominant supply.

I was more focused on why the Greens or originalky knocked back the ETS and whether the issues of concern (for them) regarding the ETS would be overcome with the carbon price. All the responses seem to indicate 'yes'.

It would appear from all the commentary over the weekend and today that a consensus will be reached.
