re: Ann: Solakool Connect joins ASX listed Go... Ok,
So based on the numbers in my previous post I have attempted to work out how much revenue COULD be expected based on Harvey Norman ordering the stock from us. I remember reading somewhere that Harvey Norman have ordered 7000 units so I have some numbers as below. I have based them on 7000 units being sold in 12 months thats only 580ish a month potentially Australia wide and I have worked on the proviso that the smaller units will sell more than the bigger units.
If I make the folowing assumptions;
3500 units 2.5kw
2500 units 3.6kw
1500 units 7.2kw
I have already established that the 7.2kw system would result in $202.50 revenue per unit for carbon credits only. I make the assumption that the 3.6kw unit generates half the credits as it is half the size. For the 2.5kw I divided the amount of the 3.6kw by 3 and multiplied by two for rough figures and they are as below;
Carbon credit revenue:
2.5kw - $67.50
3.6kw - $101.25
7.2kw - $202.50
3500 x 67.50 = $236,250
2500 x 101.25 = $253,125
1500 x 202.50 = $303,750
Total $793,125
That doesnt include any income for the actual unit being sold. It also only takes into consideration Harvey Norman's order and not the Good Guys or any other installer that decides to use the Solakool products. It also doesnt take into consideration any commercial sales which will obviously generate much higher carbon credits.
The figure above equates to almost half our yearly costs. This seems to be the most positive venture I have seen since being involved with GCN.
