My apologies kabbroom. Thought you were referring to Jake's Post #: 49861124 lol. I don't follow the forecasts on the portal because I have concerns over the accuracy. I could be wrong. 1 Jan number out in 2 hrs but who's counting.

Jake posted an extract from COE on the 30th Dec. The most tell part for me was ""He said the commercial launch of Orbost and Sole, the first new gas field developed offshore in south east Australia in a decade, would add more competitive tension into the market, although it will not add significantly to total supply available due to the rapid decline of ageing Bass Strait fields owned by BHP and Exxon." I'd been posting their numbers off and on and how Longford has declined from ~940 TJ/d to a consistent ~620 TJ ave.

I was surprised they signed an agreement to tie Manta to Orbost and not Longford. There are existing undersea pipelines going to Longford not far from Manta to tie into and plenty of spare capacity to let Manta rip. Maybe they tried and got knocked back because of the Orbost foaming issues or exclusivity. Shame to see Longford operating at 50% capacity.

Bluey, BPT have a lot on their plate atm and have their own problems. Especially with Ironbark being a bust earlier this week. I think they had a lot riding on it. Their SP took a 5% hit. Not as bad as NZ Oil & Gas and Cue though. Both were slammed.
