Broadly agree with your post above and I do think there will be a significant bounce back once the rate increases can be passed on.
Easy in hindsight however to say management got rate predictions horribly wrong, when at the time we had an RBA governor sticking to the line that rates wouldn't rise until 2024, then stinging the market with an historically rapid rise in rates before the first half of 2023 was over.
