The reality is that gut microbiome test is the domain of naturopaths, and most doctors think naturopaths are quacks. There are many doctors who think IBS is not a diagnosis, so as a mainstay of healthcare, its part of the ancillary group of practises, an outlier.
The opportunity is not in tests for the general pop for these guys, its in another space. I'll leave you to figure out what that is.
