So, how would YOU defend Australia against an entirely PROBABLE nuclear attack from an increasingly belligerent Communist China?
They've already threatened it, and show NO CONSCIENCE AT ALL about murdering millions of their own citizens. If they come for us, why would you expect them to treat us any better? Any technology we can develop which offers us any protection at all, without sacrificing the lives of Australian Defence personnel (or civilians) is okay in my book.

Australia has long been highly regarded around the world - NOT as a military aggressor - but as a sacrificial defender of human dignity and freedom - AGAINST murderous, tyrannical oppressive regimes. Against that background, I say let's have WHATEVER weaponry advantage we can develop.
