Re discarded batteries (especilly EV's) . I work with the Auto Industry . One topic never discussed in Sales Promos, is the battery life of an EV. Currently , in Australia, one major brand, is finding EV batteries have an average shelf life of 3 years, then the battery has to be changed. This major European maker has 1 , yes, 1 facility in Australia to do this - specialised equipment needed apparantly, so we are bringing cars from SA, Vic and Qld , to Riverwood in NSW where this facility exists. Same with all Lithium powered garden tools etc , what do you do with the old battery ?
