An interesting discussion between you and Biloselhi. Has there been any mention anywhere of measured output voltage?
And if so, under what load?

It's been a rather convoluted thought process, but the fact that they can interconnect them in series or parallel, and that that makes a difference to the output (else why would you bother?), necessarily implies that the off-take is from the surfaces of the sheets, not the edges. Hence, series connection of several smaller sheets will produce a higher voltage output than the same area of ONE larger sheet, but parallel connection of several smaller sheets should not be significantly different from connection to ONE larger sheet of the same area.

Surface area available for exposure to air could be a limiting design factor.
