will be interesting to see how it goes in real world applications. my understanding is it abosrbs water which in turn allows postive and negative ions to flow across it generating a current. once it reaches saturation the humidity needs to be reduced to reverse the flow. will be interesting to see what happens when they cant control humidity and what effects dirt and contamination (Salts in sweat) have on it.
