Why is the graphene ink patch powered by skin moisture being described as a battery? In medical patch conditions it needs only create enough charge to power sensors, a pattern recognition neuromorphic SOC and a Bluetooth connection to an adjacent computer/phone. Once it is peeled off it has nothing to report and needs no residual current. It rests latent until the next application.So the increase of the output to Bluetooth status is the big achievement. From here it is more about configuring the patch sensors and the analytics. So well done, SOR.
The most widely used patch is the hearing aid. If SOR and a hearing aid maker can come up with a device that avoids little batteries or recharging nightly I think we will become very rich.
