I work in Autonomous Mining and what SOR are doing is not fluff. I know first hand the amount of effort and testing required to bring such technologies to the field. It use to take years to do but now takes months.

We have a new piece of Machinery that has been made autonomous within 3 months. Now we have to build the systems around that which will take another 3-5 months. What we built is 1000 times larger and more involved than what SOR are building. Far more safety considerations required. I have no doubt, in fact I am 200% sure that SOR will succeed with this. Why? because every man and his dog is moving into EVs and autonomy.
