IdTechEx has plenty published information about a university that is looking to power skin patches from sweat. It makes me wish we knew more about SOR’s self charging battery.
What we do know is that they got 14v from 20 connected batteries, that this was able to power a device for 5 hours but we still don’t know how many amps. The device used needs one third of a micro amp to function, so that is our base level but surely the actual capability of the self charging battery is higher than that.
I wonder how far UNSW got in progressing screen printing and achieving 1 milliamp before the COVID restrictions came in.
