And no I definitely haven't learnt any electrical knowledge from this thread, I do hold an engineering degree and have been tinkering with electrics and electronics for over 50 years.

OK mate I'm wrong, just on a side note off topic, a police taser runs off a 9 volt battery, do you know how many volts it produces in stage 1?
