Can anyone confirm the export specs of South Africa? 6,000 NAR is going for $90-100US but the 5,500 NAR is going for about $60US. A huge difference.
Also, the article above has to be wrong. The last quarterly indicated a margin of $17/t for BA at January prices (~$80US). I suspect BA product is not 'high quality thermal coal' but rather sells at a discount, hence the $17/t margin. A recent update stated $77A sale price in January which equals ~$62US/t.
Op costs of $59A would be among Australia' lowest though.
