Whoever is holding the shorts, and whatever their motivation, the fact is there are 240 million shares that need to be reacquired. Last week there were about six million a day on offer.
The price has run from 20 cents to 28 on three-fifths of five-eighths of bugger-all volume.
If I were genuinely short, I would be genuinely shitting blue lights at this juncture.
