In zones of low permeability, the Free Water Level rides up higher into the formation and water may be produced on test, even if it is above the nominal Gas-Water Contact, especially if you have a high draw-down pressure.

The next complication is if you do have a water zone (or GWC) below a thin streak of high permeability in gas-bearing reservoir then you can rapidly deplete the gas in the high permeability streak and start to suck water up from the portion of the permeability streak that penetrates into the water zone. This can be a Bad Thing.

The bottom line here is if you think that the Kingia Fm reservoir (and underlying High Cliff Fm) is all uniform and homogenous you are going to get yourself into trouble. These near-shore to fluvio-deltaic reservoirs are characterised by their variability, often over short distances.
