the cynical answer is "buy time". The logical answer is "need time" The individual will choose depending upon their own bias.
Whatever we do or don't believe, there is no possible way they can find answers in 2 weeks without the proper testing equipment and the experts needed to operate that equipment.
Big companies like Woodside have fully equipped internal teams who can be there yesterday, but small companies like STX have to call in external expertise - takes time!
