yep. fair call. i am used to paying for additional tools at an on-call daily rate irrespective. have always found it far cheaper than the downtime if it was decided that at some point they were required and the entire operation had to go into standby mode while waiting for delivery - be it 300 km away or 3,000. most experienced crews can multi-task so being engaged for logging or perforating generally makes no difference. same crew - same truck. enjoy the debate though. definitely a case of our differing subjective views on operational perspective and efficiency. hence also why I enjoy this forum and opportunity to learn from others like yourself. whatever the result here is trusting it smells better than hydrogen sulphide pools of rotorua though .
