Before these two wells the SM58 platform is producing more than the SM71 and these two wells will add to that production .
I think that these two wells will be considered successful but it is too early to gauge how successful at this stage .
The oil water contacts for the discovered oil in the productive zones are a long vertical distance from the perforations which bodes well for water free oil for a long time .
Depends on good reservoir quality in the linking strata and a good water drive so we will wait and see initial flow rates and the longer term flow before we really know the degree of success .
BOYSY1 no longer seems to want to call the G1 well a dud .
I wonder if the oil flow rate is still increasing and has it passed the GC21 yet ?

The G4 will likely produce like that too .
Initially mainly gas then increasingly oil , again depending on good linkage and water drive .

The Market is rightly waiting for completions and flow rates but giving it a cautious pass rate today .
