Hi Cara, Agreed. It would be nice to know the result of the 13,500' TVD subsea sand package before the weekend but I very much doubt it.
1. The original hole was drilled to 14,423' MD (13,225' TVD) with hydrocarbons encountered in the lower part of the 13,000' sand package before the bottom-hole assembly (BHA) became stuck - June 25. 2. Lets say we commenced drilling Raptor ST-1 at the 13,320' MD kick-off depth [June 27]. 3. We have 1,000' MD to drill to get back to where we were (14,423' MD) before the BHA became stuck [June 27 - 29] 4. Re-penetrated the 35' TVD oil/gas sandy interval at approximately 14,300' MD [June 29] 5. I'm guessing that the 13,500' TVD subsea primary objective is at around 14,800' MD 6. My prediction has us getting an announcement on the 13,500' sand outcome mid next week, let's say the 4th of July.
I am hoping things go a lot quicker than this...…..
