Anyone holding steaming coal mines or generators is nuts. All will be closed as uneconomic within 5 years, simply on price.
We will still need plentiful metals. Underground mining will be all-electric - no fumes and sooooo much more torque available. {mining engineers are drooling over the benefits]
I would welcome S32 taking on Ni or Cu, yet in a sense it doesn't matter what direction opportunity leads it. Roll eg Nyrstar into Cannington, Arctic and Hermosa to make a monster Zn-Pg-Ag producer plus useful credits in related metals. An excellent business.
