We have been at or very close to cash backing in the past.
At the moment we are still well above cash backing.
The tyre kickers on this forum are hoping the SP will go once again to cash backing so they can come in and pounce on a bargain. If the tyre kickers are correct it would mean a SP of circa 25 cents.
I am hoping the new CEO is hitting the ground running and has his cost cutting razor out. Costs exploded under the previous CEO who under his tenure took the work force from circa 500 to circa 750 with zero improvement in tonnage. The 750 employees at Savage River are the highest paid group of employees in the whole of Tasmania.
