I think todays announcement was all about re-setting shareholder expectations around time lines.
The company (and particularly DW) would have been under immense pressure of late to deliver the "commercial" announcement.
The wording was very bland and i think that was for a reason.

I wouldn't mind betting there is a bit of a shift in tactics now whereby they start to entertain more capital to really push this in a much faster way.

If that is the case I suppose there are two perspectives on that idea.........shareholders give away a good portion of the pie which is disappointing....... but they get a result that is still very good and in quick time.


strangely this weather event may have been the final straw. An event of nature out of DW's hands, but enough for the board to consider the time taken so far .......and perhaps a new approach needed.

Time will tell.
