I'm actually not too bothered about the day to day movements of this stock - if it works, this will be a billion dollar company, I have no doubt. The difference between 11c and 16c (as it's traded recently) is pretty insignificant there. I don't plan on buying until they prove gas flows, when it could easily be 20c+ before I get a chance to buy in, but IMO there will still be a 5-bagger or more in it.
From a technical point of view (meaning technical geology, not charts) I do find this fascinating, for reasons I've outlined before. Today's ann of 25mD in such deep coals is another example of why. That must be one of the highest permeabilities ever reported in coal at such a depth.
Ultimately it's a pretty simple equation - if they truly are dry coals, then there is only another 1200 bbls of liquid down that hole. Once they flow that liquid out, at this sort of permeability, gas must flow.
