100% with you my friend.
Is this a favourite of yours, bet it is for NK.
If...Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about youAre losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,Or being hated, don't give way to hating,And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and DisasterAnd treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spokenTwisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winningsAnd risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,And lose, and start again at your beginningsAnd never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinewTo serve your turn long after they are gone,And so hold on when there is nothing in youExcept the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minuteWith sixty seconds' worth of distance run -Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
A few shareholders would do well to read it, even better live by it.
ISX took the only course open to it to restore its reputation. Taking ASX to the Fed Crt which ultimately led to discovery docs showing collusion by ASIC/ASX to suspend and keep suspended with no evidence.
ASIC allowed the demerger to happen and ISX to leave after that. Away from Australia my investment is now growing. Taking ASX to court ultimately led to ISX's survival because a start-up that is not growing is doomed to fail.
ASX have always had the ultimate power and their goal was to destroy ISX. THEY HAVE FAILED.
They have however been successful in stopping reputational damage due to finding ISX's only weakness in the court proceedings, a limited amount of capital. They delayed the court case intentionally and padded their legal costs with intent to put ISX under financial stress. It worked, so well played to them.
NK is a leader, he was, as were most shareholders, probably a little niave at the beginning of the court case as we all believed an injustice had been done. But leaders need to make the hard, pragmatic decisions, free of emotion and ego for the good of all. Keep fighting, burn valuable capital in a global recession or use it to grow exponentially in the America's.
I trust Niccogiannis Karantsis and all the exceptional staff at ISX financial to grow it into a global powerhouse and grow my capital, something that was and still is impossible in Australia and will remain so until the Australian financial regulators are reformed.
