Yes, the entire world is going broke spending literally trillions trying to solve a problem which is arguable at best - go figure !
In the meantime, so called intellects, in an attempt to solve "the problem", are sending messages out to mining companies to dig up the entire planet to find this exotic mineral that my mobile phone needs to be able to vibrate.
Is that what you call "counter productive" or maybe its just hyprocrisy mixed with ignorance - neither, its just a bullshit political platform with no integrity

In the meantine, the real solution is to be found in science and quantum physics - technologies just like Sparc has for producing hydrogen and just like nuclear fusion (which may be a bit further down the track).

Governments need to back projects like Sparc - a great starting point to this solution/technology is recognising that hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe.

This technology does NOT require the obliteration of the landscape, rainforests or even marine parks to accommodate wind or solar farms etc

At some point in time governments will and should be made to recognise the abject failure of their policies and look to technologies like this that will save their unworthy bacon.
